Next Project

Hi. Been a while.

It's also been a while since I've put any videos out, so I wanted to give some insight into what I'm cooking up.

I've been working a lot on optimizing my modlist, updating and looking for new mods that will enhance the viewer experience. In other words, making everything look better. Luckily the Skyrim mod community is full of very talented people, especially when it comes to lewd mods. 

Anyway, my next project isn't going to be a video. I've been learning how to use a  nice little program called Ren'Py. As some of you have guessed, that means my next project is going to be a visual novel. Some of you might be thinking "Oh, cool!" while others might think "Aw, fuck off." I hope I can excite the former further and alleviate the worries of the latter a bit.

If you've ever played any lewd VNs before, you've probably played ones that have grindy elements or have point-and-click adventure style madman logic when it comes to progression and acquiring scenes.
That's not gonna be the case here. I'm not even sure if I want to add combat elements yet. I'm still considering that. Combat in these types of "games" can be enjoyable, but usually if it somehow ties into the main appeal, being the lewds. Games like Tales of Androgyny does that really well, but I lack the talent to accomplish something similar, so I might just leave combat out entirely, or make it something simpler, similar to Claire's Quest, where if you have the correct type of item, equipment, spell or whatever, you'll automatically win. This isn't as exciting gameplay wise, but it works nicely in a VN.

I'm still working on the setting. I've gone through lots of different ideas, but I think I'm getting close to what I want to do. I have a good feeling about the current idea, but I don't want to go too much into it here, because I had a good feeling about the last one too, but I ended up reconsidering. I put in quite a bit of work on that one too, so I might upload that if people want to try it out. It had some interesting ideas, but I think the setting was too overdone. I might go more into that another time.

As for the characters, Miri is gonna be the main character, controlled by the player. Minerva will most likely make an appearance in some capacity, too. As for the rest, it's still up in the air. I have a good idea of which characters that I want to include, but I need to develop the idea a bit more before I'm willing to commit to anything.

What about the lewd stuff, you ask? Well, if you've watched my videos, you already know what to expect. N-not the early ones, don't look at those. The most recent one, the one where I realized lighting was a thing... mostly.
But yeah, beast stuff, forced stuff. Also some vanilla stuff. Good thing about a VN is I can put in a lot of different things that might not appeal to certain people, but it'll be optional, so they can just opt out.
I also want to include a bunch of mini-routes that serve as minor bad/good endings.

So, yeah. I think it's gonna be neat, once it's finally out. I'll release an "early access" version when there's enough content for that to be appropriate. I use the term early access loosely, the VN is gonna be free.
